Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of their 2004 -05 building season. I am currently building a Mantis fuse, using Terry’s new longer nose design. I will be using an Aegea wing on the fuse with my standard v-tails. What is the distance from the back of the pod to the beginning of the v-tail? On my past standard Mantis with a MH-32 wing I had a length of 29.5 inches from the back of the pod to the beginning of the v-tail. Seeing the Aegea wing is larger, does the distance between the back of the pod to the v-tails change? Any thoughts?

Thanks

Phil Barnes

I used the full length of the boom Terry supplied, making sure that the instructions on installing the boom in the fuse were followed to the letter.o
